At last week’s Eisteddfod Guernsey Gala Concert, two special trophies were presented in recognition of outstanding dedication and support for the festival.
The 'Sir Richard Collas Centenary Trophy' was awarded to 'Shaun Winterflood' for his dedication and time over the years to the Speech & Drama Section, as well as for his ongoing encouragement and support. This trophy is presented each year in recognition of exceptional participation in the arts festival.
The ‘Jack Honeybill Memorial Trophy' for Volunteer of the Year was presented to 'Nicole Bromley', Eisteddfod Guernsey’s Marketing & PR Officer. Introduced in 2025, this award recognises the time, commitment and enthusiasm of those who go above and beyond in support of the festival. Last year’s inaugural winners were Jonathan and Karen Thompson for their dedication to the Exhibition.
Congratulations to both Shaun and Nicole on these very well-deserved honours, and thank you for all that you do for Eisteddfod Guernsey.
