Arts & Crafts

A long-standing part of Guernsey life, the Arts & Crafts section of Eisteddfod Guernsey showcases creativity in all its forms and continues to play an important role in the island’s traditions. From paintings and sketches to intricate craftwork, the Arts & Crafts section offers something for everyone. Entrants can take part in the Art classes, which cover media from drawing and watercolours to oils, or explore the Craft classes, where entries range from model kits to large-scale projects such as boat building. Exhibiting work at the Eisteddfod is not only rewarding but also an opportunity to receive constructive feedback, helping entrants to celebrate their strengths and develop their skills further. Certificates are awarded for outstanding entries in each class, with trophies presented to the very best.
